In July, sixteen ADV members from Potomac Falls Anglican Church and Church of the Word set out on a week-long mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Organized through Orphanage Outreach, the trip gave them the opportunity to stay on the grounds of a boys’ orphanage in a town called Jaibon. Liz McCaslin, youth director at Church of the Word, and Amanda Holz, volunteer youth leader at Potomac Falls Anglican Church share their experience below.

The Anglican Mission of Southern Maryland (AMOSM) recently moved from its old worship location at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center in California, Md., into its new location at 41695 Fenwick Street, Leonardtown, Md.

For some years now, we have been praying that God would bless us with children at St. Stephen's. He has been answering our prayer in wonderful ways. If you were there on Youth Sunday to hear our graduating seniors, you will know how God has prepared their hearts to face adulthood as disciples of Jesus Christ.

CANA concluded its Annual Council meeting on Saturday, July 24 in Herndon, Va., with an ordination ceremony for three new chaplains. Attendees also voted to recognize and affirm the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes and the Anglican Diocese of the South, both part of the Anglican Church in North America, as well as to support the "Anglican 1000" church planting movement.
